Develop and execute sourcing and commodity strategies for metals categories that optimize cost, quality, delivery, supply continuity, and overall business performance. Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management activities, building strategic partnerships that support business objectives. Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to align sourcing strategies with business needs. Drive supplier performance through scorecards, business reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify and mitigate supplier and supply chain risks through proactive planning, market analysis, and contingency strategies to ensure business continuity. Leverage data, analytics, and market intelligence to inform sourcing decisions, evaluate supplier capabilities and productivity opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a relatively large supply chain organization is preferred.
  • Passion for leading and developing people.
  • Experience directly managing complex categories.
  • Strong negotiation skills including experience negotiating multi-million dollar contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and adapt to a high growth environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
