The Sourcing Analyst works in the Global Procurement organization as part of a Sourcing Center of Excellence team. Primary responsibility is to work closely with category managers to support the sourcing process. This would typically include supporting complex sourcing projects, and guiding Requests for Proposal (RFPs) from initiation to successful completion. This will involve collaborating with category managers to gather project requirements, developing the proposal request, coordinating with suppliers during the bid to resolve issues or answer questions, and performing detailed analysis on the data collected from suppliers to deliver final recommendations. Over the course of one sourcing event, the Sourcing Analyst may play the role of project manager, internal consultant, data analyst, and problem solver. Aside from this, the individual will play a role in supporting our Procurement systems and resources (examples include spend analysis, market intelligence, savings reporting, etc.). Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly will be very beneficial. This position places an emphasis on data analysis experience and critical thinking skills. Primary Responsibilities Build and execute online sourcing events (RFPs) in close collaboration with category managers. Prepare regular reports on the status of sourcing events and communicate status updates to relevant category manager and the team. Interact directly with suppliers to answer questions and facilitate their bid submission. Maintain an archive of detailed and organized records of completed sourcing events. Create reports for category managers and senior leaders based on Procurement data sets (projects, spend, savings, etc.). Work with the Sourcing COE team to achieve program goals. Support the effective and efficient operation of the Global Procurement organization. Qualifications 1 to 3 years’ experience in an analytical role. Prior experience as part of a Procurement or Strategic Sourcing team preferred, including knowledge of the sourcing process.
