About The Position
The Sourcing Analyst plays a key role in supporting sourcing and contracting efforts by delivering data-driven insights and analysis. This position emphasizes spend analysis, market intelligence, reporting, and total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling to inform procurement strategies, enhance supplier performance, and assist with contract negotiations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (4+ years in a related field)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar function
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance evaluation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Nice To Haves
- Background in category management or bid analysis
- Familiarity with ERP systems and reporting platforms (e.g., Cognos)
Responsibilities
- Provide analytical support for sourcing and contracting initiatives across procurement teams
- Perform market research, spend analysis, and supplier performance tracking
- Develop and maintain reports and analytical tools, including pricing models and TCO analysis
- Assist in evaluating bids and reviewing supplier proposals
- Support contract creation and ongoing supplier management activities
- Present insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and better outcomes
- Utilize ERP systems and reporting tools to monitor performance and support decision-making
