About The Position

Junior Buyer - IAC (Interior and Ancillary). A support-focused sourcing and contracts role assisting the strategic sourcing team with contract management, RFQ preparation, supplier coordination, and basic negotiations. The role is not fully autonomous and does not own a full portfolio, but manages a package of existing contracts and ensures smooth execution of procurement processes.

Requirements

Purchasing, supply chain, negotiation, contract, business administration, support
Experience within supply chain (strategic buying)
BAC: supply chain
Bilingual communication skills
1-3 years of experience within supply chain
Microsoft Office proficiency

Responsibilities

Support the sourcing team with contract-related activities.
Maintain existing contracts; drafting new ones is limited but possible depending on workload and opportunities.
Ensure contracts comply with procurement policies and business requirements.
Maintain governance documentation and KPI records (Procurement Balance Dashboard).
Participate in supplier calls, act as a sourcing representative with stakeholders.
Prepare and secure RFQs, especially for long-term agreements.
Ensure RFQ packages are complete, accurate, and aligned with internal needs.
Monitor supplier performance during complex initiatives and help ensure contractual commitments are met.
Support business requesters in escalations or claims with underperforming suppliers (negotiation exposure remains limited).
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to maintain strong relationships.
Work within the MHI Group to leverage synergies and share best practices.
