About The Position

Our Soulsters are meant to live up to their name in being the soul of our restaurants. As a Soulster, it is your job to go above and beyond to create memorable moments for our guests while maintaining the great dining room vibe that Edley’s is known for. Soulsters are the most common first and last interactions guests have with our team, so it is important that each one is a great one. Soulsters are very well versed on the menu and are prepared to guide guests through the ordering process. Soulsters fall into four categories: CASHIER, GUEST EXPERIENCE, FLOOR, and FOOD RUNNER.

Requirements

  • As a Cashier: Proficiency on the POS system and ability to process payments accurately.
  • As a Cashier: Ability to converse and connect with guests genuinely.
  • As a Guest Experience: Ability to anticipate guest needs.
  • As a Guest Experience: Ability to perform table service needs.
  • As a Floor: Ability to keep tables, beverage stations, restrooms, and busser stations clean and stocked.
  • As a Food Runner: Attention to detail to ensure plates are 100% correct before delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the soul of the restaurant, going above and beyond to create memorable moments for guests and maintaining the dining room vibe.
  • Be the primary point of contact for guests, providing excellent first and last impressions.
  • Be well-versed on the menu and guide guests through the ordering process.
  • As a Cashier: Be a friendly, fast, and efficient salesperson taking orders at the POS, confidently answering menu questions, processing payments accurately, and genuinely connecting with guests.
  • As a Guest Experience: Anticipate guest needs by monitoring tables, performing table service (refills, bussing, to-go boxes, drink orders), and answering food questions.
  • As a Floor: Keep tables bussed, stocked, and clean, reset tables immediately, maintain beverage stations, check restrooms for supplies and cleanliness, and manage busser stations.
  • As a Food Runner: Ensure plates have correct sauces and silverware before delivery, and check with guests after delivery for any additional needs.
