About The Position
This is a temporary position for a Sorter in a non-climate controlled warehouse. The primary duty involves sorting used car parts into correct barrels in designated aisles. The role requires attention to detail, basic math skills for counting parts, and the ability to read small numbers on tags to match them with location numbers.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. consistently throughout the shift
- Ability to walk and bend over throughout the shift
- Attention to detail
- Basic math skills (counting and addition)
- Ability to see small numbers on tags and match them to location numbers
Responsibilities
- Sorting used car parts into correct barrels in aisles (starters, alternators, injectors, etc.)
- Counting parts in barrels and calculating new quantities after adding new parts
- Matching small numbers on tags to numbers on locations
