Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
Enforce safe working methods and behaviors within the team.
Conduct safety audits and warehouse checks.
Respond to emergencies as required.
Supervise sorting, scanning, and processing packages (including defective items and returns).
Ensure sorting operations are completed correctly and efficiently.
Oversee shipping, receiving, dispatching, and inventory management.
Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests.
Assign labor and unload pallets.
Assist with sorting packages and envelopes as needed.
Confirm and communicate with optimization team on daily bases before start operations.
Track Line Haul operations, communicate with carriers, and monitor FMC for Amazon freight.
Mentor and support Package Handlers during the sort process.
Coach and mentor warehouse associates, including training new hires.
Schedule warehouse associates.
Evaluate and assess employee performance, workplace conduct and compliance as required, including discipline where appropriate.
Conduct quality checkups and sorted freight and inbound and outbound process.
Perform data entry as needed.
Complete and Submit Reports.
Handle driver credentials, BOL exchange, and secure docking.
Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization.
Setup sorting layout.
Other duties as assigned.
