About The Position

Perform diagnostic medical sonography procedures using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structures for accurate clinical interpretation. Operate and adjust specialized imaging equipment while manually maneuvering transducers to capture high-quality diagnostic images for patient care. Implement rigorous safety protocols and quality control procedures to ensure equipment functionality and maintain high standards of patient safety. Coordinate routine and complex ultrasound studies, effectively recognizing significant pathology, artifacts, and equipment limitations during direct patient care.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Cardiographic Tech specializing in Vascular Interpretation credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Vascular Sonography (ARRT-VS) also accepted.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted.
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree required.
