About The Position

Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to examine tissue and body structures, ensuring high-quality images for clinical interpretation. Manage equipment setup, perform routine and complex studies, and maintain procedure rooms while promptly submitting accurate images and patient data to PACS. Implement rigorous safety standards, perform quality control procedures, and ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements. Monitor equipment functionality, troubleshoot malfunctions, manage lock/tag-out procedures when necessary, and maintain a clean, organized department environment.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree required.

• Fetal Monitor Certification
• Maternal Fetal Medicine Experience strongly preferred.
