This position will pay up to $114,000 annually based on education and experience. Please note: Our Colorado campus is currently based in Aurora – but not for long. Compensation & Benefits You’ll Love We offer a competitive salary and benefits package designed to support you and your family – including: Competitive salary of up to $114,000 annually based on education and experience Paid Training and professional development Tuition Waiver after 6 months for you and eligible family members Comprehensive health, dental and vision insurance Paid Time Off and holiday benefits Retirement Matching program Paid Parental Leave Pet Insurance options Responsibilities What You’ll Do Academic & Program Leadership Provide supervisory, strategic and operational leadership for all program faculty and staff Ensure academic quality, instructional effectiveness, and student satisfaction Maintain compliance with all institutional and programmatic accreditation standards Oversee advisory committee meetings, annual reports, self-studies, and site visits Monitor and drive completion, licensure, and placement outcomes Review curriculum and implement continuous improvement initiatives Teach courses as needed (per accreditor guidelines) Faculty Leadership & Development Recruit, train, supervise, and develop program faculty Conduct formal classroom observations and provide performance feedback Ensure faculty professional development and CEU compliance Maintain complete and compliant faculty files Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture Recognize and reward faculty contributions Student Engagement Advise, mentor, and support students throughout their academic journey Assist with orientation, SAP processes, and graduation Promote a respectful, engaging learning environment Participate in campus and community events Operational & Compliance Oversight Ensure department safety meets regulatory standards Manage scheduling for courses, faculty, and students Participate in budgeting and procurement processes Conduct and document regular department meetings Ensure surveys and required reporting are completed timely Qualifications Who You Are – Required Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree (in any field) AND minimum of Associate Degree in Medical Sonography Credentials Must hold registration in at least one specialty aligned with primary teaching responsibilities Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with specialty certifications in both Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) and Abdominal (AB) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with Adult Echocardiography (AE) Specialty Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Experience Minimum four (4) years full-time professional experience as a general sonographer or vascular technologist Coursework in instructional methodologies, evaluation, and assessment Proficiency in curriculum development Preferred Prior teaching experience Leadership or supervisory experience Experience with accreditation processes Key Competencies Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Sound judgment and decision-making ability Confidentiality and professionalism Relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders #IND1

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (in any field) AND minimum of Associate Degree in Medical Sonography
  • Must hold registration in at least one specialty aligned with primary teaching responsibilities
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with specialty certifications in both Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) and Abdominal (AB)
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with Adult Echocardiography (AE) Specialty
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
