About The Position

The Part Time Sonographer will join an innovative Wellness program and work in person in Arlington, Texas. The role performs screening and diagnostic ultrasound exams, including echocardiographic exams and screening of arterial and venous vessels in the upper and lower extremities, as well as thyroid, aorta, and renal exams. Echocardiography training will be provided.

The Sonographer performs patient exams, submits high-quality images and documents, and maintains accurate electronic patient records. The role also keeps patient rooms clean, sterilized, safe, organized, adequately supplied, and equipped with well-functioning equipment. The Sonographer explains the screening process to patients, provides compassionate care and customer service, and communicates professionally with the management team. The position is part-time, with expected hours varying from 20 to 36 per week, and pays $36.00–$43.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of sonography experience.
• Certified Medical Sonographer.
• Willingness to train on echocardiography.
• Accountability and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in person in Arlington, Texas.

Nice To Haves

• Registered Vascular Technician or Vascular Ultrasound Technician.
• ARRT Certification.
• Willingness to travel 20%.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient exams, including carotid, thyroid, aortic aneurysm screening, kidney, and echocardiogram exams.
• Screen arterial and venous vessels in the upper and lower extremities.
• Submit high-quality images and documents.
• Enter and maintain accurate electronic patient records.
• Keep patient rooms clean, sterilized, safe, and organized, with adequate supplies and well-functioning equipment.
