About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services, the Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech performs medical sonograms, exercises professional judgment in performance procedures and provides safe patient care. This is a mid-shift position with hours of 10:30am - 7:00pm.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 12 months of continuing education or practical experience in ultrasound
• Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or in process of obtaining certification, must be obtained within 1 year.
• Current American Heart Association's BLS/CPR certification on hire or within orientation period
• Competent in the use of a computer and computer systems
• Excellent customer service skills

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferred
