Graduate of program of Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) an approved Sonography/Vascular Ultrasound program that has been approved by (JRCERT)
A graduate of military program an accredited by JRCERT or a graduate of an accredited ultrasound training program.

Responsibilities

Utilize advanced sonographic equipment to record detailed images of blood, organs, tissues, and bodily masses, including unborn fetuses, providing critical visual data for diagnosis and prenatal care.
Directly interact with patients, explaining procedures, answering questions, and preparing them for scans.
Meticulously operate sonographic equipment, adjusting settings and patient positions to ensure clear, diagnostic images.
Monitor and care for patients to ensure their safety and comfort.
Select and examine images for pathologies.
Present preliminary findings to Physicians.
Completes a comprehensive assessment on patients of all ages including patient screening and contraindications.
Obtains pertinent medical history from patient by observation or with oral communication.
Performs patient assessment to determine: Patient’s physical ability to undergo the imaging procedure as needed, What patient care is needed during the procedure, If there are contraindications to performing the procedure as ordered.
