Sonographer (Weekend Per Diem)
About The Position
US Fertility, a leading partnership of physician-led fertility practices, is seeking an Sonographer to join their team at Shady Grove Fertility in Rockville, Maryland. This weekend per diem role offers the opportunity to contribute to an organization dedicated to reproductive medicine, patient care, research, and development. The position involves performing detailed examinations, making measurements, documenting results, establishing patient rapport, and explaining procedures. The ideal candidate will possess technical skills, a sense of responsibility, and thrive in an environment that values excellence, empathy, and accountability.
Requirements
- Completion of formal Ultrasound training in an AMA approved school, and meeting the requirements for registry by ARDMS
- RDMS/RVT required
- Understanding and ability to follow MD protocols for procedures
- Ability to effectively operate all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this job
- Minimum of two years of experience as an ultrasound technologist in women’s health
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with fertility patients strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed examinations of the anatomy/pathology
