Sonographer (Outpatient Part-Time)
About The Position
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Outpatient Imaging, a joint venture between Atrium Health and Outpatient Imaging Affiliates, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Sonographer to join our patient-centered team at our Friendly Center location in Greensboro, NC. This is a part-time position, seeking a technologist interested in working 2–3 days per week. The hours of operation are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Outpatient Imaging has been a trusted provider for medical imaging throughout Winston-Salem and its surrounding communities for many years. Our partnership with the expert radiologists of Wake Forest Baptist allows us to bring the highest quality of care to patients in a comfortable outpatient setting.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an approved program of diagnostic sonography.
- Must be registered through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or ARRT (S).
- Centers require RVT certification along with Breast, Abdominal or General within one year of hire, where applicable.
- Additionally, must meet the state license requirement for the state in which they practice.
- Active ARDMS Breast (BR) and RVT registries are required for consideration.
