About The Position

The candidate will be responsible for performing and interpreting vascular and general ultrasound procedures. This includes Arterial Doppler and Segmental Limb Pressures Pre and Post Exercise, Carotid Doppler and Duplex Scans, Venous Doppler Studies and Duplex Scans, Digit Pressures, Digit Vasodilation, and Venous Duplex R/O DVT & Venous Reflux studies. Competence in abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical and small parts are required. Experience in musculoskeletal and neuro-sonography are assets.

Requirements

• Registered and in good standing Vascular Technologist/Sonographer with CMRITO, RDMS or RVT preferred or Canadian equivalent.
• Graduation from a recognized diagnostic vascular technologist accredited program.
• One (1) year’s recent related experience.
• American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Certified or Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARDUP) Certified.
• Current hospital experience is required.
• Superior organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to stay current within the profession.
• Satisfactory performance and attendance required with good communication skills.
• Able to work independently in addition to working well with others in a team setting.

Nice To Haves

• Experience is musculoskeletal, neuro-sonography are assets.
