About The Position

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent ultrasound program graduate or early-career sonographer looking to gain specialized experience in reproductive medicine while working alongside a highly skilled and supportive clinical team. In this role, you'll perform reproductive ultrasounds, assist with fertility-related procedures, and help provide exceptional patient care throughout the treatment process. The Sonographer is responsible for providing detailed ultrasound imaging of the female reproductive system to help identify the causes of infertility and to guide fertility treatments.

Requirements

  • Completion of formal Ultrasound training - required
  • ARDMS certification with OB/GYN specialization - required within 90 days of hire
  • Current BLS Certification - required within 60 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in women's health or reproductive endocrinology and infertility – preferred
  • 2- 4 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist – preferred
  • Proficient in computer programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments
  • Establishes personal rapport with patients
  • Provides explanations of procedures
  • Performs detailed sonographic examinations of female reproductive systems and identifies abnormalities
  • Responsible for generating and documenting ultrasound reports for physician interpretation
  • Procedure set-up, following all sterile precautions.
  • Performs and provides explanations of procedures, including Sonohysterograms, FemVue, and Ultrasound guidance for embryo transfers
  • Tracks fetal growth and development up to 9 weeks gestational age
  • Maintains ultrasound equipment
  • Orders ultrasound supplies and keeps rooms stocked
  • Travel to other Company locations as needed
  • Rotating holiday and weekend shift coverage
