About The Position

This position is triple-modality (Echo, Vascular, Ultrasound). Position requires knowledge and performance of Imaging techniques for all areas: Ultrasound (i.e. OB/Gyn, Abdominal, Small Parts, Breast, Invasive, and Intraoperative Procedures). Vascular (i.e. Carotid Flow studies, Abdominal and Peripheral Vascular Exams). Echocardiography (i.e. TTE, contrast studies, TEE, Stress Echo). Assists with providing 24/7 coverage of all services with rotating call coverage. Provides guidance and instruction for sonography students.

Requirements

• Graduate or minimum of one year of current clinical US experience along with completion of all required registries RDMS (AB, OB/GYN, BR), RVT, and RDCS or RCS.
• Substantial training and current clinical experience with ARDMS registry.
• Must be proficient with ultrasound equipment and have basic knowledge of patient care equipment.
• Sonographers will be required to be registered in Abdomen (AB), OB/GYN (OB), Breast (BR), Vascular (RVT) and Adult Cardiac (RDCS or RCS).
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life support for the Healthcare provider (BLS) or an American Heart Association (AHA) approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Ultrasound/Sonography is preferred.
• Familiarity with McKesson PACS, Epic EMR preferred.
