About The Position

The SON Instructor provides quality education in Roxborough Memorial Hospital’s School of Nursing by implementing the objectives of the nursing program. The instructor also participates in the school’s operational activities through committee work.

Roxborough Memorial Hospital is a 131-bed community hospital serving the Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls, and northwest Philadelphia communities. Its School of Nursing has educated nurses since 1898. The position is part-time and works days.

Requirements

• Hold a current, valid Registered Nurse license issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Maintain a current BLS (ARC/AHA) certificate upon hire.
• Be proficient in basic computer applications, student information systems, and learning management systems.

Nice To Haves

• A master’s degree in nursing education or nursing administration.
• One year of experience in academia or formalized education.

Responsibilities
