This role focuses on selling primarily to "end-user" customers, up-selling and cross-selling to the existing customer base, and maintaining positive customer relationships. The goal is to achieve or exceed assigned quotas for installation and service businesses, and to grow the company's recurring monthly revenue (RMR) by providing solutions to both existing and new clients. The Solutions Sales Rep will use technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in purchasing the necessary products and services. This involves conducting site surveys, preparing statements of work and sales estimates, and delivering sales presentations. The role requires a thorough understanding of company services and product lines, and partnering with internal departments to communicate job scopes and customer needs. Attracting new customers and up-selling existing clients will be achieved through field sales, phone sales, and direct marketing. The position also involves generating sales leads, creating proposals, and assisting in marketing initiatives. A key aspect is reviewing testing reports and collaborating with Service Technicians to quantify service repair proposals based on system inspection deficiencies.
