Solutions Marketing Associate

CompulseNew York, NY
$29 - $34

About The Position

The Solutions Marketing Associate helps Sales create more quality client conversations while delivering fast, polished support for everyday opportunities. This role sits closest to the front end of the sales funnel: helping sellers identify the right accounts, do their homework, personalize outreach, and turn established marketing materials into relevant client-facing presentations. For standard and smaller opportunities, typically $100K or less, the Associate uses existing positioning, narratives, templates, research, case studies, and proof points to efficiently build tailored sales materials without recreating strategy from scratch. At the prospecting stage, the Associate gives sellers the account intelligence and lead development support they need to earn more meetings. This role builds the intelligence and inputs behind outreach but does not conduct cold calling, prospecting outreach, or appointment setting. The north star is twofold: help Sales get into more of the right conversations, and help them show up to those conversations prepared.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales development, sales support, marketing, research, enablement, account planning, or a coordinator/associate role.
  • Strong research instincts and genuine curiosity about companies, industries, buyers, and business challenges.
  • Strong PowerPoint or Google Slides skills and good visual judgment.
  • Ability to turn research into concise, usable seller talking points and outreach inputs.
  • Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple fast-turn requests.
  • A proactive, service-oriented mindset paired with the confidence to ask questions and recommend a better path when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CRM, prospecting, sales intelligence, and research tools is a plus.
  • Interest in developing toward solutions marketing, insights, strategy, or sales enablement.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research target accounts that fit priority audiences, verticals, solutions, or seller territories.
  • Build and maintain actionable lead and account lists with the context sellers need to prioritize outreach.
  • Research target companies, key contacts, recent business developments, marketing activity, competitive context, and relevant signals that can create a reason to engage.
  • Prepare concise account briefs and outreach inputs that help sellers personalize emails, calls, and meeting requests.
  • Connect prospect needs and business signals to relevant Digital Remedy capabilities, proof points, content, and conversation starters.
  • Partner with Sales on focused prospecting initiatives and campaigns designed to generate qualified meetings.
  • Track which research, prospecting themes, and materials are helping sellers open doors and use those learnings to improve future support.
  • Support standard and smaller opportunities, typically $100K or less, by tailoring existing presentations and materials to the customer and opportunity.
  • Build polished client-facing decks using established templates, positioning, solution narratives, case studies, research, and proof points.
  • Quickly identify the most relevant existing materials instead of rebuilding presentations from scratch.
  • Perform light account, category, audience, or competitive research when needed to make an established story more relevant.
  • Ensure materials are accurate, on-brand, easy for sellers to present, and aligned with established messaging.
  • Escalate opportunities that require original research, custom strategy, or a new problem-led narrative to the Solutions Marketing Analyst or Manager.
  • Serve as a highly responsive day-to-day partner to Sales, understanding seller priorities, pipeline needs, and recurring friction points.
  • Help sellers navigate available materials, case studies, research, and solution stories so they can self-serve effectively when appropriate.
  • Capture recurring requests and content gaps and share them with the Solutions Marketing Manager and Product & Enablement team.
  • Support broader sales and marketing initiatives that create demand, improve seller preparedness, or accelerate opportunities.
