About The Position

As a Solution Engineer within ESW’s Global Delivery Service team, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing global ecommerce solutions to life. You’ll partner closely with clients and internal teams across the full onboarding journey - from pre‑sales discovery and solution scoping through implementation and go‑live - using a consultative approach to turn complex requirements into seamless, scalable solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, client engagement, and international commerce, supporting a specialized sales team and helping some of the world’s leading brands succeed globally.

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience in a solution engineering role or a relevant sales and technical client support role within an ecommerce or development environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of B2C ecommerce solutions, processes, and technology, including web stores, payments, and distribution platforms.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively partner with both internal teams and external clients.
  • A structured approach to specification, documentation, and planning.
  • Ability to lead consultative workshops with clients to determine the best-fit solution.
  • Proven capability to handle and set realistic client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and operational support to sales during the client pre-sales phase of the engagement process.
  • Document client solution requirements concisely and accurately using provided tooling, ensuring full clarity for product and implementation teams.
  • Work with Product Owners to complete high-level client requirements for input into product development requests.
  • Provide input into client implementation schedules, ensuring all requirements are delivered for the client.
  • Manage client expectations in line with product and functionality release schedules.
  • Report on the progress and overall health of assigned client projects.
  • Manage the client relationship from pre-sales phase through to project launch.
