About The Position

Pinwheel is searching for a presales Solutions Engineer who loves diving into technical puzzles just as much as partnering with customers. You’ll be the technical translator, the implementation guide, and the trusted advisor who helps prospects understand exactly how Pinwheel’s platform can power their vision.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering in a B2B SaaS business
  • Experience working with customers of varying sizes, including SMB and Enterprise (experience with traditional banks, fintechs, and banking platforms a plus)
  • Passion for and demonstrated experience in understanding complex systems (APIs, database, etc.), and finding solutions to technical problems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the desire to work in a client-facing role
  • Demonstrable track record of being scrappy, and finding creative solutions to tough, ambiguous problems

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for prospects throughout the sales cycles and conduct detailed product demonstrations
  • Partner with Account Executives to win strategic deals and drive revenue
  • Act as a technical consultant to potential clients, addressing their technical queries and concerns, and design specific solutions that meet the needs of customers
  • Maintain a deep technical understanding of the Pinwheel platform
  • Help translate prospect feedback into meaningful product insights. Operate cross-functionally to drive customer requests and competitive product ideas, ensuring Pinwheel is a best-in-class platform
  • Scope and execute proof of concept projects in conjunction with the customer success team, ensuring clear alignment with customers on success criteria and driving toward successful outcomes
  • Act as the primary owner of RFP responses
  • Partner with internal teams on security due diligence for late-stage deals
