Solutions Engineer III- Test
About The Position
Serve as a trusted technical advisor, partnering with enterprise customers to design modern software testing solutions. Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, proof of concepts, and solution architecture across SmartBear's testing portfolio. Bring deep expertise in software testing, automation, QA practices, and enterprise development workflows. SmartBear's software testing portfolio includes TestComplete, ReadyAPI, Reflect, QMetry, and Zephyr, enabling organizations to modernize quality engineering, automate testing, and accelerate software delivery. Partner with enterprise customers to understand business objectives and technical challenges. Lead discovery sessions, demonstrations, workshops, and proof of concepts. Consult on modern testing strategies across the SDLC. Translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions. Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success. Continuously improve demo environments and reusable technical assets.
Requirements
- 7+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, QA Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
- Strong expertise in software testing, automation, quality assurance, and the SDLC.
- Experience delivering enterprise demonstrations and proof of concepts.
- Hands-on experience with test automation, API testing, CI/CD, or DevOps.
- Excellent consultative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience supporting SAP environments is highly desirable.
