About The Position

ZIO is seeking a Commercial Solutions Engineer who will be responsible for producing all proposals and overseeing all technical design. This process starts by working with a ZIO relationship manager to perform a full needs analysis for the client’s project and then a conceptual design that has a scope and budget or final proposal. The position requires active participation in client meetings with the relationship manager, and internal meetings with various people on the engineering team to fully evaluate and develop the needs of the client for the project. Once a project is accepted, the engineer will usually work in conjunction with the project engineering team to create all technical drawings and other documentation necessary to fully execute the design to ZIO's standards. • Demonstrated knowledge of installed A/V technology
• Demonstrated knowledge of conducting needs analysis
• Demonstrated knowledge of understanding and developing budgets
• Demonstrated knowledge of determining and clarifying the scope of a project
• Demonstrated knowledge of designing error-free solutions

Nice To Haves

• College-Level Degree in Engineering, Technology, IT, or similar field of study
• At least 1 year experience in systems integration in AV & control design
• Relevant audio/video control system experience such as CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, Crestron, Extron, Q-Sys, Control4, and Biamp
