About The Position

As a leader of Solution Consultants at EcoOnline you will play a crucial role in the success and growth of the business and of our customers. You and your team will partner with Sales and Customer Success to own the solution in the sales cycle on assigned opportunities to gain solution sign off and achieve revenue goals. You and your team will engage with prospects to understand needs, align them to our solutions and deliver value and outcome based demonstrations that focus on value and outcomes. You and your team will engage beyond deal execution to work closely with the customer success, marketing, and product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience, pipeline generation and solution insight to drive a customer and market centric roadmap. You and your team will develop and maintain an understanding of our full solution suite (approx. 8-10 solutions) across EHS, Chemical Safety and ESG.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years pre sales experience
  • Strong customer facing skills and executive presence
  • Strong commercial acumen including a solid understanding of a value-based sales approach
  • Strong written, verbal and digital communication skills
  • Ability to listen, understand and articulate messages clearly
  • Strong problem solving and positive objection handling skills
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to adapt approach based on the situation, personality, persona and influence thinking
  • Passionate and energetic with a can-do attitude
  • Team player able to work harmoniously with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to multi task, set clear priorities and manage time effectively
  • Ability to travel when needed (e.g. visiting potential client sites, internal / external events)
  • This is a player/manager role and you will also be expected to engage in field activity from discovery through to demonstrations and workshops.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue: Work closely with Regional Sales Leaders to drive revenue and meet growth targets across the region.
  • Evangelism: Act as a spokesperson for the company, region and team both internally and externally.
  • Collaboration: Build strong relationships across all supporting functions to gain commitment and support for your team in the field as well as build value for our prospects and customers.
  • Allocation: Allocate team members to deals and other activities based on bandwidth, skills and other key prioritisation factors.
  • Measurement: Proactively monitor and manage individual and team performance against metrics.
  • Retention: Build and retain a world class team ensuring appropriate coverage for your region.
  • Performance: Proactively manage team performance in line with internal expectations and provide real time coaching and feedback.
  • Strategy: Develop and maintain a plan to ensure the growth ambitions of the region can be supported through your local team.
  • Execution: Support the revenue team on deal strategies, approaches to solve problems and with representation in the broader business where required.
  • Development: Act as custodian of the careers of your team to ensure they develop themselves in their roles and beyond.
  • Best Practice: Implement, drive and coach on pre sales best practice while maintaining an environment that supports and encourages individuality and innovation.
  • The business may also ask you to support other activities aligned to revenue and business goals.
