About The Position

This role primarily supports DHL Returns Network warehousing solutions. Key responsibilities include developing engineering standards, creating facility layouts and operational designs, and supporting cost modeling activities. The selected candidate will develop supply chain solutions by applying logistical and facility design concepts. Understanding the needs of the customer and applying analytical and engineering thought leadership will be imperative in creating a tailored solution to fit business requirements. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or other technical engineering fields, required.
0-2 years relative experience (including internships), required.

Responsibilities

Develop supply chain solutions by applying logistical and facility design concepts.
Understand customer needs and apply analytical and engineering thought leadership to create tailored solutions.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes through implementation.
Support design efforts with guidance in establishing industry-leading warehouse operations that support customer's overall business and supply chain strategy.
Review analysis with internal stakeholders and customers to gain alignment in solution and modeling.
Collect, analyze, and summarize data to understand customer profile and design requirements.
Support design efforts around operating processes, physical layout, and equipment requirements.
Build operating budgets that include labor, real estate, equipment, and other operational expenses.
Learn emerging technologies such as robotics, AGV, VR, AI, through internal advanced digitalization communities.
