About The Position

Inn-Flow is hiring a Solutions Consultant to help us build and scale our pre-sales technical function. This is a critical, high-impact role that will partner closely with Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success to drive new business while shaping how we demonstrate, position, and deliver value to prospective customers. This role will sit within Customer Success, reporting to the VP of Customer Success, with a strong dotted-line partnership with the Director of Sales. You’ll act as the technical and operational expert in the sales process — leading discovery, tailoring solutions, and delivering highly relevant, value-driven product demonstrations. You’ll work closely with hotel management companies and owner-operators, helping them understand how Inn-Flow can streamline accounting, payroll, labor, and operational workflows across their portfolio. Beyond supporting deals, this role will help build the foundation of our Solutions Consulting practice — including processes, assets, and performance insights — ensuring we can scale this function as the business grows. This is a hybrid role based in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area, with in-office collaboration in Raleigh on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Occasional travel is expected for customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.

Requirements

  • Experience in a Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, Implementation, or similar role within a SaaS or technology environment
  • Strong understanding of hospitality operations, ideally within hotel management companies or owner-operator environments
  • Experience with or exposure to hotel accounting, payroll, labor management, or adjacent financial systems
  • Ability to lead discovery and translate business requirements into clear technical and operational solutions
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
  • Ability to connect product capabilities to business value and outcomes
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, evolving environment with ambiguity
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Technical aptitude and curiosity — “technical enough to be dangerous”

Nice To Haves

  • Background as a controller, operator, or key user within hospitality
  • Experience working with or selling into hotel management companies or multi-property operators
  • Experience delivering highly tailored, story-driven product demos
  • Ability to clearly articulate value across accounting, payroll, and labor workflows
  • Experience helping build or scale a pre-sales or Solutions Consulting function

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Sales to support new business opportunities through discovery, solutioning, and product demonstrations
  • Lead customer discovery to deeply understand operational workflows, pain points, and requirements across accounting, payroll, and labor
  • Deliver tailored, value-based demos that clearly connect Inn-Flow’s platform to customer needs and business outcomes
  • Translate complex operational and financial workflows into clear, compelling solutions for prospective customers
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Inn-Flow’s platform and how it is used in real-world hospitality environments
  • Help shape deal strategy by identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities to strengthen positioning
  • Support customers in understanding implementation considerations and operational impact during the sales process
  • Develop technical solutions guides for customers and facilitate a seamless technical handoff with the Implementation team
  • Partner with the VP of Customer Success to build repeatable, scalable Solutions Consulting processes, playbooks, and demo assets
  • Contribute to the development of demo environments, use cases, and hospitality-specific scenarios
  • Establish and track key metrics to measure Solutions Consulting effectiveness and impact on revenue
  • Support post-sales conversations as needed to ensure continuity and customer confidence
