About The Position

At GEP, our Solution Design Consultants are trusted advisors in the sales cycle—helping enterprise clients envision how our eProcurement and supply chain platforms can solve their business challenges. You’ll partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to tailor solutions, lead platform demos, and bring GEP’s capabilities to life. You’ll be a key player in guiding prospects through discovery, design, and demonstration, combining product knowledge, client empathy, and procurement expertise.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in solution consulting, pre-sales, or implementation of enterprise SaaS platforms
  • Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain systems (e.g., Source-to-Pay, Procure-to-Pay, Spend Analytics, Contract Management)
  • Strong understanding of enterprise procurement processes and related business challenges
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex ideas for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency with MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel) for client deliverables and internal presentations

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Sales and Solutions teams to support pre-sales activities across multiple accounts and industries
  • Lead discovery calls to understand client requirements, processes, and pain points
  • Translate client needs into tailored platform demonstrations, pilots, or proof-of-concept solutions
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, POCs, SoWs, and work orders with a strong grasp of solution functionality and integration capabilities
  • Conduct product workshops, demos, and training sessions to showcase the value of GEP’s platform
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with implementation, product, and marketing teams to refine positioning and contribute to solution collateral
  • Maintain up-to-date internal documentation on solution capabilities, demo scripts, and sales playbooks
  • Travel to client sites as needed to lead workshops and client-facing sessions
