About The Position

Ivo is seeking a Solutions Attorney with a legal background to drive company growth by engaging with law firms and in-house legal teams. The role involves becoming a trusted advisor on how Ivo’s solutions can enhance their effectiveness, demonstrating the product's value, and guiding successful implementation. This position offers varied opportunities with potential for specialization as the company grows.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of legal experience, either at a law firm or in-house legal team.
  • Outstanding presentation skills to both legal and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos.
  • A "do what it takes" attitude; willingness to dive into problems and solve them independently.
  • Excitement about the adventure of building a company and being part of something early-stage.
  • Relentlessly resourceful.
  • A strong internal sense of urgency with a bias towards doing things today, rather than tomorrow.

Nice To Haves

  • Sales or customer-facing experience, including legal business development and/or secondment.
  • Experience directly managing law firm client matters and client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Champion the product and advocate for Ivo at sales calls, customer onboarding calls, demos, webinars, events, and conferences.
  • Lead product demonstrations tailored to the context of various in-house legal teams, asking questions to validate how Ivo can add value and then showcasing Ivo’s features and benefits relevant to each prospective client’s potential use cases.
  • Act as a close and trusted advisor to customers to help them integrate Ivo into their workflows and adopt best-in-class practices for scaling AI in their day-to-day work.
  • Implement (and oversee the implementation of) “Playbooks” for prospects derived from their precedents, templates, and historical agreements.
  • Work closely with engineers to improve the outputs of our models and with designers to improve our UX / UI.
  • Act as the “Voice of the Customer,” using a legal perspective to help the broader sales team develop and implement more effective strategies and synthesize customer feedback for the product team through a legal lens.
