About The Position

Vantage is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the onboarding and implementation experience for its customers. This role involves being the primary point of contact during onboarding, overseeing both the technical solution design and the overall success of implementation. The Solutions Architect will collaborate closely with a Project Manager for execution, while taking the lead in client conversations, guiding solution strategy, and ensuring customers achieve long-term success. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy combining technical expertise, client leadership, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • 3–7+ years as a Solutions Architect, Implementation Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Technical Product Manager within a SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows.
  • Proven ability to lead technical conversations with executive stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
  • Deep experience in professional services or onboarding, ideally within a fast-growing startup or a data-heavy product environment.
  • A resourceful mindset with the ability to think on your feet and make decisive technical calls when faced with legacy system hurdles.
  • A track record of driving successful go-lives where solutions are not just "functional," but perfectly aligned with the client’s strategic needs.
  • Experience working in a "pod" or partnership model (e.g., Architect + Project Manager) to balance technical excellence with project discipline.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SQL or scripting is preferred to help troubleshoot and manipulate data during implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to uncover deep-seated requirements, identifying system constraints, data dependencies, and business goals early in the onboarding process.
  • Design scalable architectures using the Vantage platform, defining data flows and configuration approaches that minimize friction and maximize performance.
  • Serve as the primary client-facing technical lead, running high-stakes meetings including kickoffs, solution design reviews, and go-live validations.
  • Drive the end-to-end technical outcome of onboarding, making real-time decisions to adapt solutions and executing configurations or integrations as needed.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to maintain timelines, while surfacing customer feedback to Product and Engineering to influence the future roadmap.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical blockers or integration hurdles, ensuring a smooth and predictable path to launch.
