About The Position

The Solutions Architect will be responsible for the architectural design (Solution and Data) and ensures compliance of solutions to Enterprise Architecture Principles and Technology Architecture Patterns. This role is accountable for technical delivery for assigned projects (Solution and Data). The architect will leverage the current and approved technology portfolio, enterprise architectural standards, and established patterns to create solution and data designs that deliver the required business capabilities. Collaboration with other architects, developers, and engineers is key to create synergies and drive technology reuse within and across projects. The role involves partnering with BU IT management and business stakeholders to help gain consensus and drive decisions required for projects and/or initiatives. This includes approval of detailed technical designs and vendor technical designs to ensure adherence to enterprise standards, reduce complexity, increase reusability, and drive down costs. The architect will design solutions that meet the best interest of multiple stakeholders, including those of the project and enterprise level, and leverage enterprise tools with reusable components and services. The role also involves working with business users to reduce technical complexity introduced by business requirements, ensuring designs meet business requirements, and providing recommendations that produce efficiencies in technology support costs and improve performance while meeting customer requirements. Additionally, the Solutions Architect will provide leadership and mentoring to less experienced associates, translate highly technical problems into business terms for various audiences, and present recommendations and solutions clearly and concisely. Driving desired outcomes and decisions through trust and influence is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

• Experience with Azure Service Bus or similar technology required.
• Solutions Architect experience.

Nice To Haves

• D365 experience is a plus.
