About The Position

We are looking for the unique individual who likes to be hands on but has the ability to work strategically to develop roadmaps, solution options and designs following an API first model, enterprise security standards and reference architectures. This person will develop Enterprise Solution Architecture patterns as well as advocate and drive adoption of best practices to ensure standardization of solution designs across the enterprise. This person will set the direction for solution development and mentor others on the ES team to raise the bar of all solutions delivered. Key to success in the role is being a great communicator who works well with others. You will work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to identify and research innovative new technology to improve organizational capabilities, conduct proof of concepts and evolve architecture standards. Must have experience implementing Manhattan WMS or other large scale, enterprise WMS and integrating with host systems, WES, WCS and 3rd party solutions. The ideal candidate will also have strong experience with microservice architecture, and cloud computing (preferably AWS).

Requirements

• Experience implementing Manhattan WMS or other large scale, enterprise WMS and integrating with host systems, WES, WCS and 3rd party solutions.
• Strong experience with microservice architecture.
• Strong experience with cloud computing (preferably AWS).
• Extensive experience creating and evolving large-scale systems to support business goals.
• A history of balancing systems and operational concerns with function.
• Skill in diagnosing and solving complex problems and providing detailed technical analysis.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• A love of learning and teaching.
