Solutions Architect

Aiwyn

About The Position

Aiwyn is seeking a Solutions Architect to serve as the bridge between client needs, the Aiwyn platform's capabilities, and the successful execution by the Implementation team. This is a foundational role within a new Solutions Architecture function, where the successful candidate will define playbooks, establish standards, and develop discovery frameworks for a rapidly scaling company. The role requires an AI-first mindset, utilizing AI tools for tasks such as discovery preparation, scoping documentation, and product learning, and being able to represent this approach to clients adopting AI in their workflows.

Requirements

  • Proven pre-sales, post-sales, solutions architecture, or solutions engineering experience in B2B SaaS, ideally FinTech or accounting technology, at a fast-growth 0-1 company or an early-series growth-stage company.
  • Fluency in the accounting tech stack: GL systems, practice management platforms, document management, and billing infrastructure, with an understanding of differences in Big 4, Top 25, and regional firm environments.
  • Command of APIs, webhooks, data migration, ETL, and SSO sufficient to design integrations and judge feasibility independently.
  • Hands-on fluency with AI tools and AI-assisted workflows in production, and the ability to credibly discuss the future of AI technology.
  • Exceptional communication skills across technical and executive audiences.
  • Coachability and self-awareness, demonstrated by the ability to discuss past scoping mistakes and lessons learned.
  • A builder's instinct, with experience creating structure where none existed and making work reproducible.
  • Enthusiasm for travel and on-site customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical evaluation end-to-end, leading technical discovery, feasibility assessment, and solution architecture throughout the pre-sale cycle.
  • Design systems-level solutions, translating firm workflow requirements into integration blueprints involving APIs, webhooks, data migration, ETL, and SSO, and assessing feasibility without constant Engineering involvement.
  • Produce contract-quality scoping documents for Delivery Leads to execute, ensuring successful implementation.
  • Run executive rooms, building credibility with firm-side CTOs, COOs, and partners, and influencing deal strategy alongside Account Executives.
  • Uncover and synthesize client needs, including unarticulated requirements, into designs, timelines, and constraints, knowing when to decline requests.
  • Build the Solutions Architecture playbook, transforming ad hoc successes into a reproducible structure.
  • Provide specific field signal back to the Product team regarding engagement patterns.
  • Participate in in-person on-sites and joint sales calls.
