About The Position

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking experienced and motivated technologists with a unique balance of technical depth, business acumen, and strong interpersonal skills. This Solutions Architect (SA) role involves developing the technology strategy for one of AWS's largest global enterprise customers in a complex and multi-faceted environment. The SA will engage with senior executive leaders and cloud architects daily to build relationships and foster cloud advocacy. A key objective is to help customers become an AI-Enabled Enterprise by implementing leading-edge technologies, designing advanced cloud-based solutions, adopting cloud best practices, and modernizing enterprise workloads in the cloud. The SA will collaborate with various AWS teams to create highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems, build mindshare, and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. In partnership with the sales team, the SA will drive customer satisfaction and revenue growth across a diverse portfolio of technologies. The ability to connect technologies to measurable business value is crucial, requiring strategic thinking about business challenges and the articulation of technical solutions. Additionally, the SA will capture and share best practices, generate internal and external technical content, and participate in hiring activities within the broader SA community. The role requires openness to traveling 25% domestically with some international travel.

Requirements

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
• Experience with design, deployment, and evaluation of agentic AI systems

Responsibilities

• Develop the technology strategy for one of our largest global enterprise customers in a complex and multi-faceted environment.
• Interface with both senior executive leaders and cloud architects on a daily basis to build relationships and enable them as cloud advocates.
• Help the customer become an AI-Enabled Enterprise by implementing leading-edge technologies, designing advanced cloud-based solutions, adopting cloud best practice designs, and modernizing enterprise workloads in the cloud.
• Partner with various AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that solve customer business problems, build mindshare, and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.
• Drive customer satisfaction and revenue growth across a wide portfolio of technologies in collaboration with the sales team.
• Capture and share best practices with peers.
• Generate internal and external technical content.
• Participate in hiring activities to grow the community.
