About The Position

TopBuild Corp. (NYSE: BLD) is a leading installer and specialty distributor of insulation, commercial roofing systems, and related building products serving the construction industry across the United States and Canada. Through its Installation Services and Specialty Distribution segments, TopBuild operates a broad branch network supporting residential and commercial end markets. Within this portfolio, the Roofing business, including Progressive Roofing, represents a strategic growth platform in the commercial roofing sector, requiring scalable, modern technology solutions to support complex quoting, order-to-cash, and field execution workflows. To support this growth, TopBuild is seeking a Senior Manager, Solution Delivery to own the end-to-end delivery of application solutions for the Roofing business unit. This role provides hands-on technical leadership at the architectural and design level across custom applications, integrations, and Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) extensions, with strong grounding in Order-to-Cash processes. Oracle EBS serves as the backend system of record, while this role leads the design and delivery of modern, cloud-native applications and services built on top of it. This is a newly created leadership role designed to establish and scale the engineering capability supporting the Roofing Platform. The Senior Manager will build and shape a high-performing team of internal staff and delivery partners, define technical and delivery standards, and create the foundation for sustainable, modern application engineering. Success in this role requires deep technical credibility, the ability to make sound architectural decisions, and the discipline to translate engineering standards into measurable improvements in quality, velocity, and accountability. The Senior Manager is accountable for architecture direction, engineering standards, delivery outcomes, partner performance, and the ongoing modernization of the software development lifecycle. Operating within an Agile delivery model, this leader will improve predictability, throughput, and solution quality while intentionally reducing dependency on reactive, hands-on technical escalation. This role will play a key part in delivering TopBuild's next-generation Commercial Roofing solution and establishing scalable engineering patterns that can extend across Solution Delivery. This position requires strong ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-growing, change-oriented environment. Success demands disciplined execution, an engineering mindset, and close partnership with Business Applications, Infrastructure, Security, and external delivery partners.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in enterprise application solution delivery, leveraging onsite/offshore/near-shore models, including prior hands-on experience as a software engineer or technical lead with the ability to review technical designs and code when necessary.
• Strong grounding in Oracle E-Business Suite (R12), particularly Order-to-Cash processes and Oracle-integrated custom solutions.
• Proven engineering leadership experience modernizing SDLC practices, including Agile delivery, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automation.
• Experience leading blended teams of internal staff and external partners with accountability for delivery outcomes.
• Track record of improving delivery velocity, quality, and operational maturity.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience building custom, cloud-native applications that integrate with ERP platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery and architectural direction of Roofing application solutions, ensuring engineering standards, solution quality, release readiness, and alignment to enterprise security and technology standards.
• Build and scale the engineering capability supporting Roofing, leading architects, engineers, and analysts while establishing clear accountability, performance expectations, and effective coordination across internal and partner resources.
• Modernize the SDLC through disciplined Agile practices, CI/CD, Develops, and automation, improving velocity, predictability, and solution quality while establishing scalable development patterns leveraging Oracle EBS as the transactional engine.
• Partner with Business Applications and business leaders to align delivery priorities, provide transparency into risks and trade-offs, and ensure successful execution of the Commercial Roofing solution roadmap.
• Lead delivery through partner teams, holding them accountable for outcomes, quality, and timelines while continuously optimizing performance and capacity.
• Establish and scale a high-performing engineering team aligned to Roofing priorities.
• Deliver measurable improvements in delivery velocity, predictability, and solution quality.
• Successfully launch key capabilities supporting the Commercial Roofing solution roadmap.
• Modernize SDLC practices, embedding Agile discipline, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automation.
• Strengthen partner accountability and reduce dependency on individual escalation points.
