About The Position

Citi, a leading global bank with approximately 200 million customer accounts and operations in over 160 countries, is seeking a Solution Engineer Vice President. This role is crucial for the Enterprise Operations & Technology teams, focusing on designing, prompting, and leveraging technology for AI Accelerated Product Development Lifecycle strategy. The position involves ensuring quality standards are met within existing and planned frameworks, and reimagining client and partner experiences through secure, reliable, and efficient services. Requirements

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role
  • Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
  • Must be results-oriented, innovative, and motivated
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Communicates architectural decisions through formal artifacts
  • Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
  • Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Proven track record of operational process change and improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives, all projects within the group and in creating a technology domain roadmap
  • Lead analysis of functional requirements and solutions design
  • Evaluate options and present comparative analysis with recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Apply in-depth domain knowledge of financial services to multi-dimensional business problems
  • Design enterprise-wide solutions leveraging solutions, business, technical, and data architecture
  • Architect structured prompt frameworks tailored toward business related outcomes. Must be proficient in ~ Chain-of-thought (CoT) and tree-of-thought (ToT) prompting, Few-shot and zero-shot prompting strategies, Role-based and persona-driven prompt design, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline architecture, Proficiency for optimized prompts to adhere to accuracy, latency, and compliance requirements
  • Design multi-step reasoning pipelines for domain-specific problem solving
  • Ensure that all integration of functions meet business goals
  • Recommend product customization for system integration
  • Identify problem causality, business impact and root causes
  • Impact the engineering function by influencing decisions through advice, counsel or facilitating services
  • Drives efficiency gains, enhanced controls, and extendible scalability
  • Engages globally across Lines of Business and functions
  • Advise or mentor junior team members
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
