Build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with internal architecture, development & design standards & best practices. Design, modify, develop, write, implement and troubleshoot software programming applications. Support and/or install software applications. Lead the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Works within a Waterfall or Agile methodology/framework based team. Collaborates heavily with Project Management, Business Analyst and Infrastructure Job Families. What You'll Do: Works independently Develops advanced solutions to resolve customer and prospective customer issues in a logical, creative and structured manner Align the client’s goals, needs and objectives to the solutions Communicate issues and status in a clear, timely manner Interpret specifications and build advanced solutions to those specifications Collaborate on the business strategy by acting as an expert of the company's services and products, including usage, architecture, functionality and deployment Develop custom presentations and demonstrations for all audiences Generates infrastructure support documentation Make proposals and writes request for proposal (RFP) responses Evaluate and propose advanced process improvements Maintain expert knowledge about the company's software/hardware products May provide training and mentoring, as well as work direction, to others on the team Application Platform Management Services (APMS) - Maximo Solution Engineer: Collaborate with Technology Business Analysts, Solution Engineers, Architects to understand requirements, Design and Develop high quality stable Maximo solutions. Advise, design, modify, develop, write, implement and troubleshoot Maximo environments to ensure stability of Maximo environments. Support and/or install software applications and related infrastructure. Perform software upgrades, apply fix packs, perform exports/refreshes. Updating, building and deploying Application Enterprise Archive (EAR) files. Build trusting relationships and work collaboratively across teams, System Integrators, job families to accomplish complex goals to support production and lower environments (both on-premesis and Cloud).

Requirements

  • Solution Engineer Staff (SG9): Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required. Experience: 8 years of relevant work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
  • Solution Engineer Lead (SG10): Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required. Experience:10 years of relevant work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong knowledge and experience with: Configuration of Maximo workflows, automation scripts, Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) including web service technologies like REST using JSON/XML, and SOAP services, start centers, security, escalation, Crons, BIRT, GIT, LDAP, AWS
  • Experience in Java/J2EE, PL SQL, Oracle Databases, WebSphere, F5, Safe SAML, Web Methods, AWS, OpenShift, Splunk
  • Configuring and tuning Maximo environments to achieve maximum performance, familiar with Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus
  • Familiarity with latest Maximo versions and MAS
  • Business Process knowledge of Work, Asset Management, Supply Chain and Procurement
  • Related Maximo Certifications will be a Plus, not required
