About The Position
The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leading innovator in property technology, and we are seeking to hire a motivated Solution Design Engineer to join their team in Houston, TX. This role combines technical expertise, solution design, problem solving and customer engagement. The Solution Design Engineer will support pre-sales initiatives, develop customized technical solutions, and collaborate across teams to ensure customer requirements are translated into effective, scalable solutions that support successful sales and implementation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of network design experience with Ruckus, Aruba, or Cisco Meraki equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Visio, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and SharePoint
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
- Excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Ekahau and Lucidchart preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-sales technical support, product demonstrations, and technical presentations
- Assess customer requirements and design tailored technical solutions
- Partner with product development teams to incorporate customer feedback into product improvements
- Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and sales materials
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure solution alignment and effective communication
- Perform other duties and assignments as required
