About The Position

The Solution Centre is an extension of our in-branch experience. Our Solution Centre Associates are relied upon to engage and promote a full range of borrowing and investment options while maintaining our award winning service levels. If you're interested in a fast paced environment and opportunity to see a wide scope of client service, this is an exciting opportunity to consider. This role is based out of the North Vancouver Hub. This role requires flexibility in schedule and one evening shift per week. Hybrid work arrangement is available after the 3-month training period.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of directly related financial services experience.
• Solid understanding of credit products and procedures with previous experience structuring and granting credit (including mortgages).

Nice To Haves

• Mutual funds license is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provides service and sales across the four pillars of banking including borrowing, investments (may include mutual funds), insurance, and general banking. Refers to specialists and/or branch staff when required.
• Conducts outbound calls for a variety of sales and service initiatives aimed at business retention and growth.
• Grants mortgages, consumer loans and other credit applications within assigned lending limits. Promotes the sales of credit insurance. Makes appropriate recommendations to manager for credit above limits.
• Promotes and completes the sale for investment products (may include mutual funds). Makes referrals to investment specialists as required.
• Ensures BlueShore Financial and Solution Centre service/sales standards are adhered to in order to enhance and maximize business opportunities with internal and external partners.
