Solution Architect - Warehouse Solutions
About The Position
The Solution Architect – Warehouse Solutions owns the end-to-end Warehousing business process and capability vision, identifying and recommending high-value solutions aligned with Solar’s strategic objectives. The role establishes priorities and provides direction to enterprise business partners (EBPs) and business analysts so they can translate the vision into business capabilities, requirements, and executable solutions. It owns the Warehousing capability roadmap and aligns business and technology stakeholders on priorities, investments, dependencies, and future-state solutions. The position works with warehouse specialists to improve Warehousing processes and capabilities and coaches and mentors team members in business analysis, Warehousing domain knowledge, and solution delivery. The role also assists with developing, testing, and delivering services or products; analyzes existing offerings; conducts competitor research; identifies user and client requirements; defines technical specifications; prepares technical documentation; supports senior analysts with data requests, reports, and technical assistance; and participates in process-improvement initiatives. The job requires a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or I.T. The position is onsite five days a week.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or I.T.
- Extensive experience in accuracy and attention to detail, effective communications, business assessment, requirements analysis, technical writing/documentation, and product design and development.
- Advanced business data analysis capability.
- Ability to own Warehousing business process and capability vision and roadmap, align stakeholders, and guide business analysts and EBPs.
- Ability to identify and document business and technical requirements, produce functional and information requirements models, and use requirements analysis methods and tools.
- Ability to develop, test, and deliver products or services, prepare technical documentation, analyze offerings, and recommend improvements.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end Warehousing business process and capability vision and recommend high-value solutions aligned with Solar’s strategic objectives.
- Establish priorities and provide direction to EBPs and business analysts to translate the vision into capabilities, requirements, and executable solutions.
- Own the Warehousing capability roadmap and align business and technology stakeholders on priorities, investments, dependencies, and future-state solutions.
- Collaborate with warehouse specialists to improve Warehousing processes and capabilities.
- Coach and mentor team members in business analysis, Warehousing domain knowledge, and solution delivery.
- Assist in developing, testing, and delivering services and products; analyze existing offerings, prepare technical documentation, and recommend upgrades.
- Conduct market research and comparative analysis of competitor offerings, and recommend product or service improvements.
- Identify user and client requirements, define technical specifications, and share technical documentation with senior analysts and technical teams.
- Support senior analysts by fulfilling data requests, preparing reports, and providing technical assistance.
- Participate in initiatives to improve process efficiency and employee productivity.
- Apply accuracy, communication, business data analysis, business assessment, requirements analysis, technical writing and documentation, and product design and development expertise.
