About The Position

Join us in transforming road infrastructure! At NIRA, we develop software solutions that help road authorities and infrastructure organizations make smarter, data-driven decisions. Our connected products enable customers around the world to monitor, analyze, and maintain road infrastructure more efficiently and sustainably. We're looking for a Solution Architect to join our growing U.S. team in Detroit. This is more than a traditional customer-facing role; you'll combine customer engagement with technical product analysis and domain expertise, acting as the link between our customers and product teams. By turning customer insights into innovative solutions, you'll help shape the next generation of digital road infrastructure while becoming a go-to technical partner for our customers. Your role and team As a Solution Architect, you are the primary technical point of contact for our customers and are responsible for ensuring their long-term success with our connected product portfolio. You'll work closely with customers to understand their challenges, design solutions that maximize the value of our platform, and act as a bridge between customer needs and product development. You will join a team of Customer Success Managers and Solution Architects, working closely with our developers, architects, product managers, and sales & business development teams. Together, we combine deep domain expertise with cross-functional collaboration to develop solutions that create real value for our customers. The role includes occasional travel to customer sites and industry events, primarily within North America, with some international travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience in road infrastructure, road asset management, pavement management, or transportation systems.
  • Experience with data analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with SQL
  • Strong understanding of road engineering principles and infrastructure maintenance processes
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted software development or coding tools
  • Existing relationships with U.S. state DOTs, municipalities, or automotive OEMs a plus

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and building lasting relationships.
  • Support customers through onboarding, use-case analysis, solution design, training, and ongoing guidance on our products, dashboards, and analytics tools.
  • Translate customer requirements into technical solution architectures and manage related commercial administration.
  • Keep customers informed about the product roadmap, new features, and best practices.
  • Continuously improve customer processes by streamlining deliveries and reducing manual work.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Data Scientists in an agile environment.
  • Contribute to the long-term development and digital transformation of the road infrastructure sector in North America.
