The company is seeking a GenAI Solution Architect who will be responsible for both designing the architecture of AI-powered systems and actively building them. This role involves orchestrating and building agentic AI systems in enterprise delivery environments and educating clients on their implemented solutions. CompassX is actively delivering AI-enabled solutions for complex enterprise clients and requires an individual who has practical experience building with tools such as agents, orchestration frameworks, LLM integrations, and production-ready data infrastructure. This position is at the forefront of the AI practice, influencing GenAI engagement delivery and defining best practices for clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience building production or near-production GenAI systems, addressing challenges like evaluation, hallucination, latency, and cost at the architectural level.
  • Practical experience building agentic workflows and multi-agent systems using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with major LLM platforms and APIs, including OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or equivalent.
  • Strong Python skills and proficiency in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Understanding of how AI systems consume data, including vector stores, embeddings, RAG architectures, and underlying data infrastructure for production AI applications.
  • Experience in client-facing or consulting delivery roles, with the ability to navigate organizational complexity and communicate AI architecture to technical and business stakeholders.
  • A builder mentality with a preference for using AI tools to accelerate personal work and a focus on deployable enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end architectures for AI-powered applications, including LLM selection, prompt engineering, orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and integration with enterprise data.
  • Build agentic AI workflows using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar, and orchestrate multi-agent systems.
  • Manage the full GenAI delivery stack, including LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock), vector databases, RAG pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and deployment infrastructure.
  • Integrate GenAI solutions with existing enterprise architecture, including data platforms, APIs, identity and access controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Translate technical architecture decisions into strategic narratives for client leadership to guide clients from AI experimentation to AI-enabled operations.
  • Develop patterns, reusable components, and technical standards to enhance the delivery team's efficiency.
