Sr. Solution Architect, Enterprise Integration

We’re looking for a Senior Integration Solution Architect to design scalable, secure, and future-ready integration solutions across cloud and enterprise platforms. This role partners with application teams and business leaders to translate strategic goals into reusable, governed architecture aligned with enterprise standards. You’ll lead the design of modern integration ecosystems leveraging APIs, event-driven systems, and cloud-native technologies while ensuring compliance, performance, and cost optimization.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in integration architecture, solution architecture, or enterprise integration
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Proven experience designing API-led and event-driven architectures
- Hands-on expertise with at least one major integration platform (MuleSoft, SAP BTP, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, messaging, ETL, and file-based integrations
- Experience implementing secure, scalable, and highly available distributed systems
- Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Familiarity with governance, compliance, and architecture review processes
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Kafka, IBM MQ, GoAnywhere MFT, Tibco, SAP BODS, Elasticsearch
- Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, SAP BTP Integration Suite, Azure APIM, Spring Boot (Java)
- Understanding of the Boomi platform
- Exposure to event streaming and real-time data pipelines
- Experience conducting TCO analysis and platform rationalization
- Familiarity with AI-enabled integration or intelligent automation
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Industry experience in healthcare, supply chain, or regulated environments
- Relevant certifications (MuleSoft, cloud provider, architecture frameworks)
Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end integration solutions across source, connectors, orchestration, transport, and target systems using domain-driven design and API-led approaches
- Apply a multi-platform integration strategy (MuleSoft, SAP BTP, Spring Boot, MFT, ETL, streaming) to select the right solution based on business and technical needs
- Create high-level and low-level technical designs leveraging MuleSoft, SAP BTP, Azure API Management, Spring Boot, Kafka, and related tools
- Define and enforce non-functional requirements including scalability, resiliency, availability, and performance
- Ensure solutions comply with IT governance frameworks (ITGC, SOX, HIPAA, DSCSA) and pass architecture review boards
- Guide modernization initiatives including cloud migration, API transformation, and integration platform consolidation
- Conduct TCO analysis and recommend cost-effective integration strategies and alternatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering teams, architects, and leadership to deliver reusable and scalable integration patterns
