About The Position

Client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA PPDS Solution Architect Director to lead the implementation, support, and optimization of production planning and detailed scheduling solutions. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate manufacturing requirements into scalable SAP PPDS solutions, ensuring seamless integration across the SAP landscape.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in SAP PP / QM
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA PPDS
• Proven experience in PPDS implementation and support projects
• Experience migrating legacy planning tools to SAP S/4HANA
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, production planning, and scheduling processes
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams
• SAP S/4HANA PPDS Production Planning & Quality Management
• Detailed Scheduling & Capacity Planning
• SAP PPDS configuration and customization
• Integration with SAP MM, SD
• System testing and troubleshooting
• Functional and technical documentation
• Experience in discrete or batch manufacturing industries

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to SAP IBP or SAP APO PP/DS migration
• Knowledge of MES or shop floor system integration
• SAP S/4HANA PP or PPDS certification
• Basic knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance and Warehouse Management

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support SAP S/4HANA PPDS solutions across client environments
• Design and support Production Planning and Quality Management processes within S/4HANA
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document manufacturing requirements
• Translate business needs into scalable functional and technical SAP PPDS solutions
• Develop and maintain functional/technical specifications, process flows, and solution architecture
• Configure PPDS capabilities including production planning, capacity planning, and detailed scheduling
• Ensure integration with SAP modules such as MM, SD, and WM
• Support SIT, UAT, and go-live activities
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform root-cause analysis for performance optimization
• Deliver user training, documentation, and post-go-live support
• Work independently and within global cross-functional teams
