About The Position

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Solution Architect (Applications & Integrations) to join our team in Peoria, IL. This role is within an extremely reputable, stable Fortune 100 company. The Solution Architect will understand the current technical architecture and functionality of key systems, ensure architecture supports business goals, and partner cross-functionally to achieve those goals. The role involves working with the Coupa application and its integrations, gathering requirements, creating design documentation, overseeing testing, partnering with developers for implementation, deploying new functionality, resolving issues through architecture changes, conducting technology experiments, and using data to make recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of experience in this capacity
• IT-related experience in application development, support, and architecture
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience creating architecture diagrams and design documentation
• Successfully implemented both API-based and ETL-based integration architectures
• Experience working with SaaS and cloud-based technologies
• Experience supporting major applications serving thousands of users located globally
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Strong accountability, planning/organization, teamwork, and customer focus
• Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints
• Ability to self-learn new skills or technologies

Responsibilities

• Understand current technical architecture and functionality of systems
• Understand business goals and ensure architecture supports those goals
• Collaborate with developers, security, other application teams, the Enterprise Architect, and business partners to achieve goals
• Work with the Coupa application and the integrations that enable it
• Gather requirements from various business partners and create design documentation
• Oversee testing to verify results are as expected
• Partner with developers to understand and implement solutions
• Work with other application teams to deploy new functionality and resolve issues through architecture changes
• Conduct experiments with technology to develop solutions
• Use data to make recommendations and support decisions
