About The Position

The Solution Architect for Solutions Engineering Group (SEG) is responsible for designing and articulating end-to-end AI solutions that address customer business outcomes within Presidio's AI Solutions portfolio. This role translates customer requirements into well-architected solutions, partners with sales and engineering to validate technical feasibility, and serves as a trusted technical advisor throughout the solution lifecycle. The Solution Architect works closely with Field Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and partner teams to develop solution architectures, technical proposals, and demonstration plans that win business and accelerate customer adoption. This role ensures Presidio's AI solutions are positioned credibly, scoped accurately, and delivered with a clear technical vision that aligns customer needs with Presidio capabilities.

Requirements

• Familiarity with AI/ML platforms and frameworks including model training, inference, and MLOps patterns.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML service portfolios.
• Familiarity with data platforms, integration patterns, and modern application architectures.
• Familiarity with solution architecture methodologies including TOGAF and modern architectural patterns.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate business requirements into technical architectures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across Sales, Engineering, Product, and customer teams.
• Customer-centric thinking with a focus on outcomes and value realization.
• Self-directed learning orientation; stays current on emerging AI/ML technologies and industry trends.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to iterate quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• 5-8 years of experience in solution architecture, technical pre-sales, or related roles, preferably in AI/ML or cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience designing AI/ML solutions and architectures for enterprise customers.
• Familiarity with cloud hyperscaler platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and their AI/ML service portfolios.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AI solution architectures that address customer business outcomes and align with Presidio capabilities.
• Partner with Field Sales to support customer engagements, technical discovery, and proposal development.
• Develop solution diagrams, technical write-ups, and architectural decision records to support sales motions.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to validate technical feasibility and inform roadmap priorities.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, whiteboarding workshops, and architectural reviews with customers and partners.
• Support RFP/RFI responses with technically accurate, compelling content.
• Build and maintain reference architectures, solution patterns, and best-practice documentation.
• Stay current on AI/ML technologies, cloud platforms, and industry trends to inform solution strategy.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and solution architects across SEG.
• Contribute to internal communities of practice and knowledge-sharing forums.
