About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Solution Architect – AI opening for our client. This is a remote position with a preference for candidates in the Eastern/Central Time Zone, requiring travel to Buffalo, NY every 4–6 weeks. The role is for an initial duration of 6 months. The primary responsibilities include designing and architecting enterprise AI solutions leveraging Generative AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation. The architect will also be responsible for architecting and integrating AI capabilities across cloud, data, and enterprise technology platforms. Collaboration with Agile teams, domain leaders, enterprise architects, and stakeholders is key to developing conceptual, logical, and physical solution architectures. A crucial part of the role involves translating complex AI concepts and technical solutions into business value, clearly communicating options, tradeoffs, and recommendations. The position requires participation in solution design, development, testing, deployment, and architecture governance activities. Additionally, the architect will research emerging AI technologies and industry trends, evaluate technical approaches, and recommend solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards, while also identifying architecture risks, dependencies, and compliance considerations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant work experience, or a combination of at least 9 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect, including ownership of architecture artifacts, technical designs, and deliverables.
  • Experience designing enterprise AI solutions using Generative AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation.
  • Experience architecting and integrating applications across cloud, data, and enterprise platforms.
  • Experience with multiple programming languages, software architecture principles, and design patterns.
  • Experience in software or service engineering and technology delivery.
  • Ability to translate complex AI and technical concepts into business value and communicate effectively with stakeholders at varying organizational levels.
  • Ability to research, evaluate, and articulate multiple technical approaches and apply emerging technology trends to business initiatives.
  • Ability to demonstrate urgency, collaborate effectively, and clearly articulate personally created architecture artifacts and deliverables.

  • Graduate degree in a technical discipline.
  • Experience in two or more technical roles related to banking technology design.

  • Contribute to architecture standards, governance, risk management, and solution quality assessments.
  • Create, enhance, and present architecture artifacts and deliverables, demonstrating personal ownership of solution design and technical outcomes.
  • Work effectively with stakeholders across varying organizational levels while promoting collaboration and innovation.
  • Demonstrate urgency, accountability, and proactive communication throughout architecture and delivery activities.
