About The Position

Cyera is seeking a highly technical and results-oriented Solutions Architect focused on AI Security to join their team. This role is integral to the organization, owning technical presales efforts for Cyera’s AI Security offering. The Solutions Architect will act as a technical expert, articulating the unique value proposition of Cyera’s AI Security solution and its integration with DSPM and DLP products. Key responsibilities include performing demos, driving Proof of Values (POVs) end-to-end, and owning the technical sales success of the Cyera platform. The role also involves close collaboration with product management, marketing, sales teams, and engineering to influence product strategy, develop collateral, and create compelling demos. The Solutions Architect will serve as a trusted advisor to customers and partners, and represent Cyera at industry events. This is a highly visible and strategic position offering significant career advancement opportunities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or a technical presales role within cybersecurity or data security.
• Strong understanding of AI and ML technologies including LLMs, copilots, RAG pipelines, and AI agents, and the emerging security and governance risks they introduce (e.g., shadow AI, data leakage, model access control).
• Working knowledge of data security fundamentals including data classification, DSPM, DLP, data access governance, and cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Proven track record running technical POVs and demos that translate into technical wins.
• Excellent communication skills, able to speak credibly to both engineers and executive stakeholders (CISOs, CDOs, Chief AI Officers).
• Self-starter comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed for customer engagements and industry events.
• Based in the US, open to candidates in the Pacific or Mountain timezone.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience with DLP or DSPM tools such as Cyera, Microsoft Purview, Symantec, Forcepoint, or Varonis.
• Experience with AI governance frameworks or AI security posture management (AI-SPM) tooling.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP) or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Lead Customer Proof of Value (POV) Engagements, including planning success criteria, executing technical validation, troubleshooting, running stakeholder readouts, and driving POVs to clear outcomes.
• Deliver Compelling Product Demonstrations, tailoring them to customer use cases and personas, telling a clear value story, showcasing differentiators, handling Q&A, and aligning next steps.
• Provide Technical Leadership and Expertise as the primary technical advisor in Cyera AI Security for sales teams, customers, and prospects, offering in-depth knowledge of how Cyera secures the AI data lifecycle and integrates with DSPM and DLP products.
• Understand and evolve usage of the Cyera platform to enable customer success in securing AI adoption.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies (e.g., shadow AI, generative AI data leakage), and the competitive landscape.
• Perform Solution Architecture and Design, working with customers to understand their AI adoption plans and data security challenges, designing customized solutions, and developing technical proposals, blueprints, and integration strategies.
• Ensure proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with Cyera’s best practices.
• Build and maintain strong Customer Engagement and Relationship Building with key customers and stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and gathering feedback.
• Provide post-sales support to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering Teams to communicate customer needs and market demands, influence product roadmaps, and prioritize features.
• Participate in product development discussions to ensure alignment with market requirements.
• Engage in Thought Leadership and Evangelism by representing the company at industry events, conferences, webinars, and trade shows.
