Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher AND seven (7) years of experience as a clinical documentation integrity specialist, or inpatient coder in a private, government, or military environment.
  • OR High School Diploma/ GED AND eleven (11) years of experience as a clinical documentation integrity specialist, or inpatient coder in a private, government, or military environment.
  • Possess one of the following current and valid certifications; RHIA, RHIT, CCS, Auditing: Inpatient Coding Micro-credential, CIC, CDIS, CCDS, RN or one of the following preferred certifications CCDS-O, CDEO, CDIP, CRC, COC.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred outpatient clinical documentation integrity specialist experience, and experience with risk adjustment models, HCCs and CPT/E/M guidelines.
  • Experience with Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) processes and clinical documentation integrity practices, including alignment with Revenue Cycle workflows.
  • Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, including workflows, system implementations, and training of medical staff.
  • Experience managing multiple project workstreams, coordinating across teams, and collaborating with cross-functional departments.
  • Experience consulting with clients on health information systems and managing client relationships.
  • Knowledge of assigned solutions, services, and products, as well as healthcare industry practices.
  • Experience applying change management methodologies, addressing complex situations, and identifying solutions.
  • Knowledge of business operations, strategic planning, and delivering presentations and training, along with proficiency in computer-based tools, written and verbal communication, and demonstrated use of professional judgment, reliability, and accountability in a work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering effectively with clients to implement core configurations and best-practice workflows, drive adoption and deliver advanced optimization across assigned Solventum product lines.
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for assigned solutions and support internal teams as needed.
  • Provide consultative guidance to clients on feature functionality, workflow design, and outcomes alignment grounded in Solventum best practices, with a focus on implementation readiness and sustainable change.
  • Understand clients’ short- and long-term goals and work with client to operationalize product features, drive adoption, and achieve targeted outcomes.
  • Guide clients through change management throughout implementation and post-go-live activities to support product engagement and adoption.
  • Work to resolve client issues directly when possible or advocate on their behalf as needed to ensure timely resolution.
  • Serve as the product implementation subject matter expert (SME), coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and aligning internal teams to deliver a seamless, client-focused implementation experience.
  • Provide change leadership maintaining clear communication to support successful adoption.
  • Accountable and Measured -- by client satisfaction and voice of the customer survey results for the assigned client base, including implementation experience, product adoption, and realized outcomes.
  • Actively stay current on industry trends and product updates.
  • Participating in relevant corporate programs and initiatives, adhere to professional and quality standards, comply with corporate policies and procedures, and act in alignment with Solventum’s values and ethical standards.
  • Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
